Exterior and interior wall repair
Matching stone. Smooth interior.
Our friends at Aspen Dental called us back after a vehicle left the road and struck their office. Outside, the impact disrupted the stacked stone and the wall behind it. Inside, cracking beneath a break room window showed that the damage reached beyond the facade.
The photographs tell the story from both sides. Addressing only the visible stone would have left part of the job unfinished. The repair needed attention to the exterior assembly and the interior surface together.
Once the damaged area was opened, the work moved through the layers behind the finished exterior. The progress photos show replacement sheathing, barrier and flashing work, and rebuilt masonry before the stacked stone finish returned.
Those stages matter because the finished appearance is only one part of a wall repair. The layers beneath it need attention before the surface is closed. Here, the photo sequence makes that normally hidden work visible.
The final exterior step was bringing the repaired area back into the existing facade. Our crew matched the stacked stone so the repair would work with the surrounding building rather than draw attention to the impact.
The restored exterior photo shows the stone back in place beneath the windows and blue awnings. It is the visible result of a repair completed from the underlying wall outward.
The break room needed its own repair. Our team worked on the damaged interior wall and smoothed the surface back to a clean finish. The before and after photos show the change beneath the window, where the cracking had been visible.
A different kind of filling for a dental office, with the same attention to the final finish. Bringing both sides together was what made this project complete.

For Newport News business owners and property managers, this project is a useful example of commercial repair that connects exterior work with interior restoration. It also reflects the trust behind a returning client calling the same team when something unexpected happens.
