Roofing team was excellent. Worked steadily and efficiently to repair a couple of sections of underlayment and replace our roof with new shingles. New roof looks great.

We had major water damage to our home. Bluewater came out, surveyed the damage, helped us with a plan (when we were at our wits end) and worked with us to make our home beautiful. They also beat out 3 others with the cost. With any construction flexibility is key. We had some delays with wi.dows and siding g but we're kept up to date through the entire process. Once everything was in the process moved quickly! This isn't our first experience with James and Bluewater.

I just had a new roof installed, and Bluewater Building Company did a fantastic job. Their price beat several other quotes I received, and they were able to install my new roof within a week. The entire process was smooth, the crew was professional, and the quality of the work was excellent. I highly recommend Bluewater to anyone looking for a reliable roofing contractor.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Bluewater Building Company. When we purchased our home, we knew it had potential, but it needed significant work and a complete interior transformation. Bluewater helped us take what felt like an overwhelming project and turn it into a home we absolutely love.
Virtually every room in the house was touched during the renovation, including major structural changes such as removing walls and completely reimagining spaces. From the very beginning, their team helped us see the vision for what our home could become. They listened to what was important to us, offered thoughtful ideas and solutions, and guided us through decisions in a way that made us feel confident every step of the way.
What truly set Bluewater apart was their project management and communication. Renovations of this scale inevitably come with surprises, but whenever challenges arose, they addressed them quickly, communicated clearly, and stayed focused on keeping the project moving forward. Their ability to proactively solve problems and minimize schedule impacts was incredibly impressive and gave us tremendous peace of mind throughout the process.
They were also excellent stewards of our budget. Rather than simply presenting additional costs, they consistently looked for opportunities to create savings and identify alternatives that maintained the quality and vision we wanted. At no point did we feel like we had to compromise on our dream for the home. Instead, Bluewater found ways to help us achieve it while remaining mindful of costs.
The quality of workmanship throughout the project is outstanding. Just as importantly, the trade partners they work with are clearly held to the same high standards. Every crew that came through our home was professional, skilled, respectful, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
Beyond the quality of their work, Bluewater's team genuinely cared about the outcome. They treated our project as if it were their own home and took pride in getting every detail right. That level of dedication is hard to find and made all the difference in our experience.
At the end of the project, the finished product exceeded our expectations. What started as a house with potential has become our dream home, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire Bluewater team for helping make that happen.
If you're looking for a contractor who combines expertise, professionalism, creativity, strong communication, and exceptional craftsmanship, we wholeheartedly recommend Bluewater Building Company. We would not hesitate to work with them again.

James with Bluewater Building company has been my go to guy for windows and roofing for years. As a real estate agent, it’s important to know who you can trust to get the job right using quality materials without being exorbitantly expensive. They always get the job done right and the crews that work there are professional, friendly, and respectful.
I trust them to get work done on my own home, all my clients houses, my family’s properties and a top referral to friends too.

The Bluewater team recently completed a master bath renovation. I am very pleased with the service received. The quote was accurate, and when a price change was needed, it was explained to us and approved. The communication was great and James and Jenny were always available for any questions or concerns. Jenny was exceptional on working with me on design and product selections. She kept me on budget to assist me in the vision i had for my space. She always followed up with every step in the construction and made sure the work was done to my satisfaction. The rest of the crew was exceptional as well. Steve was the lead carpenter on my project as well as Tony and Timmy. Wilson was the tile guy and our electrician was Michael. I am trying to remember all their names because each and every one of them were very detailed oriented and provided the same exceptional service. This company did a fantastic job from the owner James to the entire team!

Building a custom home should feel clear, organized, and personal from the start. At Bluewater Building Company, we begin with site planning and grading, then move through plumbing, drainage, foundation work, framing, wrap installation, roofing, cladding, windows, doors, and interior completions. From paint and trim to finishes and appliances, each phase is carefully managed with attention to detail and communication along the way. Once the final walkthrough is complete, we hand you the keys to a home built around your vision, your selections, and your lifestyle.
Getting Started
Our process is simple, transparent, and fully centered around you. This is true custom home building, where every major detail is reviewed, documented, and controlled before construction begins.
Step 1: Intro Consultation
We begin with an initial consultation to review your overall scope of work, goals, budget expectations, and general project workflow. From there, we provide an estimate based on the anticipated scope and direction of the build.
Step 2: Contract, Selections, and Draw Schedule
Once the basic terms are agreed upon, we prepare a formal contract that outlines the projected start and finish dates. We also create a detailed selection sheet that itemizes every part of the build, along with a draw schedule so you know exactly when payments are due and how much is required at each stage.
Step 3: Construction Begins
Once everything is approved, our skilled team gets to work building your home. Throughout the process, we keep you updated, informed, and involved so there are no surprises.
Welcome Home!
When construction is complete, we complete the final walkthrough and hand you the keys to your new custom home.
